Wig Buying Guide
Wig sizing is written in a code nobody explains: 13x4, 13x6, 5x5, 7x7, HD, full lace. This page decodes it so you order the right one the first time. If you already know, go to the wig collection.
The numbers are lace measurements, in inches
Every one of those numbers describes the patch of lace at the front or top of the wig. Width first, then depth. That patch is the only part you can part and style freely — the rest of the cap is wefted hair.

Bigger lace is not better. It is more freedom and more work — more surface to lay flat, bleach and melt. If you install your own wigs and you are still learning, a 5x5 or 7x7 closure wig looks more convincing in inexperienced hands than a badly-laid 13x6.
HD lace versus regular lace
HD lace is a thinner, finer mesh. It presses closer to the skin and disappears more completely at the hairline, which is why it is what people mean by an undetectable install.
The trade-off is honest: thinner lace is more delicate. HD lace tears more easily if you are rough with combs or adhesive removal, and it wants a gentler hand at the hairline. Regular lace is more forgiving and lasts longer under hard wear. If you wear a wig daily and remove it daily, that durability may matter more to you than the last five percent of invisibility.
Most of our range is HD lace.
Cap size
Our wigs come in small, medium and large. Medium fits most adults and is what to order if you are unsure.
To measure, run a soft tape around your head just above your ears and across the nape, where the wig band will sit. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one and use the adjustable straps — a slightly snug cap stays put, and a loose one lifts at the nape no matter how well the front is laid.
Length, and what it costs
We stock 12 to 32 inches. Price rises with length, and the jump is steeper on wigs than on bundles because a longer wig needs more hair from a single donor:

Across the collection, wigs start at $795 and the longest lengths in the deepest constructions reach about $1,726.
Remember that curly and wavy textures shrink. A 20 inch curly wig wears shorter than a 20 inch straight one, so size up an inch or two if you are matching a specific look.
Every wig is raw hair
These are made from the same single-donor raw hair as our bundles — never chemically processed, never mixed from several donors. That is what lets you wash a wig and have the texture come back, and it is why these are priced as an investment piece rather than a costume.

Textures we build
Loose wave, deep wave, natural wave, straight, curly and #613 blonde — in Raw Indian, Cambodian and Burmese hair. Browse by construction: frontal wigs, closure wigs, HD lace wigs, or all lace wigs.
Allow time before you need it
Our Lux HD wigs are made after you order and need about 5 days of build time before they ship. On top of that, allow 3 to 5 days for dispatch and 5 to 7 business days for US delivery, or 7 to 10 for international.
If you have a date, order at least three weeks out. We would rather tell you that now than have you counting days later. If your date is tight, call us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Every delivery requires a signature, so use an address where someone can receive it.

Our sales are final, so it is worth one message to get it right. Send us a photo of the look you are going for, your head measurement and your date, and we will tell you which construction, length and cap size to order.
